Join the Friends of Harpeth River State Park for our 2nd Annual All About Bluebirds! We're learning all about Eastern Bluebirds, plus we'll build and paint bluebird nest boxes. Hope you can join us!

About The Event
Join us with your families and friends for our 2nd annual -- All About Bluebirds! Starting at 1:00 pm Don Hazel, former President of the Tennessee Bluebird Association, will share an education program about bluebirds including how to care for and monitor next boxes. Don is a devoted bluebird enthusiast, helping establish clubs and in general promoting the care of bluebirds.
Following his talk, we'll work on our very own bluebird nest boxes! When you register, you may select a pre-drilled box to assemble. Or, you may choose a pre-assembled box that you can paint and decorate. Your $25 registration is ideal for families of 2-4 people and you'll receive one box. All supplies will be provided.

We're excited to bring you a program all about Eastern Bluebirds! During this program, participants can build a nest box or paint one that is already assembled. Space is limited. We have 20 nest boxes available in total. The $20 registration includes all supplies plus an education program to learn how to place, monitor, and clean your bluebird box. One registration will accommodate families/groups of 2-4 people for 1 bluebird box.
